Accuracy of Product Information and Pricing

We have taken every measure to provide accurate product images for each product for sale on the site. However, individual differences between, e.g, Internet browsers or monitor colour contrasts are out of our control and we cannot be held responsible or liable for any differences in colour between the image and the actual product.

Pricing:

 We take every possible care to prevent items being incorrectly priced on our website but in the rare event that this should occur, we reserve the right to decline your order. 

By clicking the 'Accept' button you agree to these terms and conditions. By completing and submitting the electronic order form (or proceeding through the 'checkout process') you are making an offer to purchase goods which, if accepted by us, will result in a binding contract. Neither submitting an electronic order form or completing the checkout process constitutes our acceptance of your order."

Liabilities:

The products sold on Flying-Changes.com are provided for private domestic and consumer use only. Accordingly, we do not accept liability for any indirect loss, consequential loss, loss of data, loss of income or profit, loss of damage to property and/or loss from claims of third parties arising out of the use of the site or for any products or services purchased from jottnar.com.

We have taken every measure to prevent Internet fraud and ensure any data collected from you is stored as securely and safely as possible. However, we cannot be held liable in the extremely unlikely event of a breach in our secure computer servers.

We shall have no liability to you for any delay in the delivery of products ordered or any other matters to the extent that the delay is due to any event outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, flood, fire, labour disputes, strikes, lock-outs, riots, civil commotion, malicious damage, explosion, governmental actions and any other similar events.

We make no warranty that the website will meet your requirements or will be uninterrupted, timely or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the site or the server that makes it available are free of viruses or bugs or represents the full functionality, accuracy, and reliability of the website. We will not be responsible or liable to you for any loss of content or material uploaded or transmitted through the website.

We do not accept liability for any errors and/or omissions contained in our website and reserve the right to change information, prices, specifications and descriptions of listed goods, products and services at any time and without notice.

Your Contractual Obligations to us:

You confirm to us that:

  1.  you are legally capable of entering into a binding contract in respect of the product(s) you are ordering;
  2. all information and details provided to us (including on your registration and order) are true, accurate and up-to-date in all respects and at all times;
  3.  you will comply with your obligations on your use of the website as set out in these terms and conditions below.

Your use of the Website:

You agree that in using our website you will not:

  1. use the website for any unlawful purpose;
  2. use the website in any way that interrupts, damages, impairs or renders the website less efficient;
  3.  transfer files that contain viruses, trojans or other unlawful programs;
  4. access or attempt to access the accounts of other users or to penetrate or attempt to penetrate the website’s security measures;
  5. email or otherwise disseminate any content which is defamatory, obscene or may have the effect of being harassing, threatening or abusive to an individual or group of individuals on the basis of religion, gender, sexual orientation, race, age, disability or otherwise;
  6. advertise or promote third party or your own products or services including by way of the distribution of “spam” email;
  7. use the website for any purpose other than your personal use.

We reserve the right to suspend, restrict or terminate your access to our website at any time without notice if we have reasonable grounds to believe that you have breached any of these terms and conditions. This will not limit our right to take any other action against you that we consider appropriate to defend our rights or those of any other person.

Order Confirmation:

You will receive an email to confirm successful payment. If you have a problem processing your payment online or are not certain if your payment was successful please call customer services on +44 (0) 1285 425405 or email info@flying-changes.com

You will receive a further email upon successful despatch from our warehouse of your product. Or when a bespoke item is ready for dispatch and a payment of a remaining balance is required. You will receive a notification from our courier specifying a delivery date which may be changed if you wish.

Delivery:

All UK mainland deliveries are shipped by DHL and will require a signature on delivery. You will receive a notification by email and text if you have provided us with your mobile number indicating date of delivery and usually a 2 hr window which may be changed if you wish.

The cost is £9.00

International shipments are sent via Royal Mail International signed for and tracked to most destinations.

The cost is £35.00 flat rate to all destinations.

Fast track courier services are available to most countries - prices vary dependant on destination. 

CURRENCY:

Prices are quoted in UK £ Sterling and are inclusive of VAT. For international (non-UK) customers, local import duties may be payable by the recipient on receipt of the order. For bespoke items we are able to deduct the VAT for Customers outside of the EU when the balance is payable.

The prices to our US customers are excluding VAT but they are inclusive of a 20% surcharge to cover the additional costs involved in processing and fulfilling the orders and the US sales tax incurred by us.

We would like you to be 100% satisfied with your purchase and offer a simple and stress-free returns policy in the event that you are not.

Returns Policy:

We sincerely want you to be fully satisfied with the fit of your Flying Changes garments. 

So please don’t worry – Flying Changes will always support customer purchases.

PURCHASE OF AN IN-STOCK OR STANDARD SIZE ITEM:

If the jacket arrives and it doesn’t fit, you can simply return it to us, unworn, within 14 days of receipt, in the original packaging, with the labels still attached for a full refund or exchange. This exchange can be either for the same product but in a different size or colour, or for an entirely different product altogether. In the case of an exchange for an alternative product, assuming a difference in price, we will either refund you the difference or take additional payment. 

UK customers, please contact us for a package label. 

OR:

We can make minor alterations, sleeve lengths for example, or make minor adjustments to body widths for just £45.00 including UK return postage.

If the garment requires fully customised measurements, we will remake the garment for just £80.00 with all the required measurements, including UK return postage.  

For International customers, we will alsways check the sizing with you before shipping, thereby avoiding most problems. However, should the fit not be quite right, we will always work with our customers to find the best solution. We also have several retailers in the US who we may be able to put you in contact with to further assist us.

 PURCHASE OF A GARMENT WHERE YOU HAVE ALREADY SUBMITTED YOUR OWN MEASUREMENTS FOLLOWING OUR STEP BY STEP GUIDE. 

If the garment arrives and it does not fit well, we will either help you have it adjusted by a local tailor or we will remake the coat free of charge for you.  

Hats

We offer hassle free returns on all our products, with the exception of the hats. This is simply because for safety reasons we are not allowed to do so.

Faulty Items

This is a very rare occurrance with our products but we are always ready to sort out any issues should they occur.

Goods are considered faulty where a manufacturing fault occurs within 90 days of purchase. Faulty items will be replaced, repaired or refunded at the discretion of the Flying Changes Customer Services team following evaluation. Where economically viable, we will always seek to repair an item, at our cost, as a first resort. In instances where this is impractical we will then opt to swap your faulty product with a like-for-like replacement. In the event that we are out of stock, we will refund you the cost of the product in full. In all instances where manufacturing faults are identified, the customer’s return postage costs will be refunded.

 Please note that items that are damaged as a result of excessive or long term usage are not considered to be faulty. If you have damaged your product in an accident, or through sustained and long-term use, then please contact us as it is likely that we’ll be able to repair it for you, for just a small charge.

Refunds bespoke items:

Every garment is 100% individually tailor-made and handmade according to the customer’s preferences. We work very hard with our customers to ensure all the design details and measurments are correct before the order is processed. Hence, we DO NOT offer refunds if you have simply changed your mind 😊 We will however, always endeavour to work with our customers and make any changes that are feasibly possible to the garment at cost,  if for any reason a change to the design is required.

If a bepoke order is received and you are not entirely happy with the fit, you must inform us within 7 days of receiving the garment. We will then help you explain to us any issues and put measures in place to rectify any problems. We will always endevour to work with our customers to resolve any issues but we must be informed on immediate receipt of the garment. 

You are however, not entitled to a refund on a bespoke item at this stage. Legally we reserve the right to have at least two attempts to make any alterations deemed necessary, before a refund is made. 

Following Brexit and Covid, if we agree to accept an order for fast tracking, although we will do everything we possibly can to ensure it arrives on time, we can not guarantee this. Delivery delays are sadly beyond our control and therefore do not constitute a reason for cancelling the order.

Returns procedure:

Please email us at info@flying-changes.com, outlining the nature of the return. Please include your Order ID and Order Date.

Please then return the product to Chandlers House, Wilkinson Road, Cirencester, GL7 1YT

You are liable for the package and its contents until received by us. We therefore strongly recommend that all returns to us are sent via a Recorded service.

When we receive your return we will process it quickly and will refund you on any monies owing directly to the card you used to purchase your original item(s).or via Paypal or bank transfer. 

Return postage costs

For all items returned for an exchange or refund, postage costs fall to the customer. For all items returned as faulty, and accepted as so by us, the postage costs will be reimbursed by Flying Changes to the customer at a rate equivalent to Royal Mail’s First Class Recorded service (UK customers) or Royal Mail’s International Signed For service (international customers).

Please note it may not be possible to amend an order for a bespoke item if the production has already commenced.

During Olympia, Badminton, Blair and the National Dressage Championships, our response may be slower than at other times.

Product Care:

All of our garments are designed to be worn as an equestrian product, and therefore to withstand reasonable weather conditions. If a wool or wool mix fabric has been chosen, it may not be expected to withstand, extreme weather conditions, such as continuous torrential rain to the same degree as the technical fabrics and care should be taken to protect the garment in such circumstances. Our technical fabrics will recover very well, even from torrential rain, however, they are not a waterproof garment and there may be a small risk of the dye running, particularly when the garment is new and subjected to heavy rain. It is recommended an outer waterproof garment is worn in these conditions.

In order to achieve an optimum performance, from our garment, you should take reasonable care to protect and look after your product. Each product contains integral care labels which should be strictly adhered to. In most instances it will state delicate wash at 30 degrees or lower. These are our recommendations to further enhance the life and performance of your product. If you have any queries at all in relation to our products, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Please also ensure that the item is stored carefully when not in use. Flying Changes will not be liable for any damage that results from contravening these instructions.
